I loved visiting the farm with my grandparents as a child. My affection for Uncle Frank and Auntie Phyllis has never waned. I enjoyed seeing the pigs and other animals. In retirement the conversations about farming still held an interest for me. Uncle Frank was such a calm and gentle man and my last walk around Coates Green to the church was something I shall treasure for ever. Jo.

Frank was a good friend and a regular worshipper at our church. As organist for many years I remember well when only Frank and Phyllis were two of four people that attended what was then a wonderful sung service of Evening Prayer. We spoke regularly "at the farm" when walking our dog. In a few words we would like to say what a wonderful "Gentleman Farmer" was Frank to one and all.
